Embodiment Construction

[0030] The invention distributes the projection data of image reconstruction to different processors for parallel processing, and then synthesizes the respective reconstructed images into an overall image.

[0031] Three-dimensional cone-beam CT is based on the different absorption of photons by different structures inside the object to form a three-dimensional image of the object to characterize the internal structure of the object. Specifically, by emitting cone beam rays from multiple light sources (usually forming a so-called scanning curve) through the object to be measured, the projection data is collected on the surface detector, and then the image value representing the absorption is calculated from the projection data. Algorithms that obtain images from projection data are called image reconstruction algorithms. And it is considered that the projection data is collected on a certain plane (regardless of the shape of the surface detector), which is called the detection...

Abstract

The system for reconstructing 3D pyramidal CT image includes a pyramidal X-ray scanning device and an image reconstructing device connected together. The former includes platform, X-ray source and planar detector set oppositely on two sides of the platform, with the X-ray source comprising connected X-ray generator and collimator. The later includes data acquiring unit connected to the planar detector, central computer, processors connected successively. The processing method of reconstructing 3D pyramidal CT image includes the following steps: for the X-ray source to emit pyramidal X-rays to scan the object on the platform; for the planar detector to receive X-rays, convert into projection data and feed the data to the data acquiring unit and the central computer; for the central computer to distribute the projection data in the processors; and for the processors to reconstruct the image and send the image to the central computer for composing the integral image. The present invention has high real-time property.

Description

technical field [0001] The invention relates to a processing system for three-dimensional cone-beam CT image reconstruction, in particular to a processing system for three-dimensional cone-beam CT image reconstruction using multiple parallel processors. Background technique [0002] CT is the abbreviation of Computerized Tomography in English, which means computerized tomography, and computerized tomography technology is mainly used in medical clinical diagnosis and non-destructive testing in many fields such as industry, biology, petroleum, geophysical prospecting, materials, and safety. X-ray computed tomography technology has been used since the 1970s, and traditional CT is based on two-dimensional (parallel beam, fan beam) imaging. [0003] Three-dimensional cone-beam CT has many advantages such as faster scanning speed and higher imaging resolution than two-dimensional XCT. At present, most CT is tomographic CT, which uses X-rays to scan a slice of the object to be mea...
