Abstract

The switching power supply includes an AC power source, an input rectifying / filtering circuit, a pulse width control circuit, a transformer, a first and a second output rectifying / filtering circuits, and a clamping circuit. Throught the pulse width control circuit, the input rectifying / filtering circuit is connected to primary side of the transformer. The first and the second output rectifying / filtering circuits are connected to first secondary coil and second secondary coil respectively. The clamping circuit is connected between the first and the second output rectifying / filtering circuits. Being composed of a voltage regulator tube, a triode and a resistance, the clamping circuit is in use for clamping the output voltage of the first output rectifying / filtering circuit at a stated value of voltage before normal load at output end of the said circuit so as to restrain drift of output voltage. The invention raises quality of output voltage and saves power consumption.
