Embodiment Construction

[0023] A preferred embodiment of a tester according to the invention is shown in FIG. 1 . The tester 1 is particularly suitable for testing the signal lines of the flight control system of the aircraft's trimmable horizontal stabilizer (THS) motor. More specifically, the tester 1 according to the invention is especially intended for testing components, signal lines, terminals etc. upstream of the flight control system of the THS-motor during ground testing of an aircraft using the ESAO-system capable of simulating different flight situations.

[0024] The tester 1 comprises two plugs 10, 20, which are to be plugged into corresponding relay sockets (not shown), thereby replacing the original relays of the avionics unit, eg 51CE and 52CE. Abstract

The invention discloses a tester and testing method of signal line of flying control system of THS motor, which comprises the following parts: at least one testing relay (52, 54) to connect relay socket of the flying control system when testing the signal line of flying control system, at least one indicator (60, 70, 80, 90) to connect at least one testing relay (52, 54) electrically and indicate whether the voltage of testing relay (52, 54) equals or is more than the preset voltage. The testing method comprises the following steps: connecting at least one testing relay (52, 54) of tester (1) and relay socket of flying control system through substituted original relay; exerting voltage on at least one testing relay (52, 54); affirming whether the voltage of testing relay (52, 54) equals or is more than the preset voltage.
