Abstract
The present invention relates to a composition for anticorrosion wax. In particular, it relates to a composition for anticorrosion wax comprising naphthene-based mineral oil, wax, anticorrosion additive, alkyd resin, and additives. The additives include an oxidized petroleum wax and a microcrystalline wax which are mixed in an optimum ratio in the wax. The additives may also include calcium petroleum sulfonate and barium dinonylnaphthalene sulfonate which enhance anticorrosion. The anticorrosion wax reduces volatile organic components and may be applied to the body of a car.
Description
[0001] Cross-references to related applications [0002] This application claims priority from Korean Patent Application No. 10-2006-0075231 filed on August 9, 2006, which application is hereby incorporated by reference. Technical field [0003] This invention relates to anti-corrosion wax compositions. Background technique [0004] Recently, various attempts have been made to use wax to protect cars from harmful environmental damage. Traditionally, anti-corrosion wax is diluted with a solvent along with additives, applied to the car, and the solvent is then dried. In this regard, the problem with traditional anti-corrosion waxes is that the evaporated solvent is removed using a dryer such as a ventilator exhaust fan. [0005] Therefore, there has been a long-standing need to develop a wax that does not use an additional dryer and produces a reduced amount of volatile components. [0006] The present invention satisfies this long desired need by using naphthene-based mine...
