Abstract

A modular management blade (MMB) system is used to monitor the voltage, the temperature and the rotating speed of fan of the inner side of a blade server (Blade Server) shell. The modular management blade system comprises a first modular management blade and a second modular management blade. The first modular management blade comprises a first storage location for storing a first program code. The second modular management blade is coupled with the first modular management blade through a first communication link; the second modular management blade comprises a communication link control unit and a second storage location which are respectively used to receive an updated program code grouping and store a second program code. When the communication link control unit receives the updated program code grouping, the first and the second modular management blades respectively update the first and the second program codes according to the updated program code grouping.
