Abstract

The invention discloses an electronic type horizontal sensor and the sensing method thereof. A beam of light produced from a light source is projected toward the liquid surface of a horizontal liquid level gauge, and an optical sensing unit is used to sense the beam of light reflected by the liquid surface of the horizontal liquid level gauge, and the electronic signal representing the inclination angle of the horizontal sensor is output according to the position of the sensed beam of light.
