Abstract

Disclosed is a method for assigning a user (10) to an elevator system (20) comprising a plurality of elevator cars (21,22,23) and a destination call control unit. According to said method, the user (10) issues a destination call to the destination call control unit (30) by means of a communication unit (30). The destination call control unit determines a group of elevator cars (21,22,23) in order to answer the destination call and communicates the group of elevator cars (21, 22) to the user (10) with the aid of the communication unit (30). The user (10) selects an elevator car (21) among the group of elevator cars (21,22) by means of the communication unit (30).
