The protocol stack optimization method includes following steps: acquiring module information in the protocol stack and evaluating the comprehensive properties of the protocol stack; the optimization strategy of the protocol stack is evaluated and determined according to the comprehensive properties of the protocol stack, the optimization strategy at least includes optimized module information; an alternative module for optimization is selected according to the optimization strategy of the protocol stack; the reconfiguration of the module in the protocol stack is completed by selected alternative module. The protocol stack optimization method and device of the invention optimizes the protocol stack in the level of the module, but not only the adjustment of the present module parameter, enlarging the optimization range of the protocol stack, capable of achieving larger optimization effect.
