One method is to receive a short message from a sender and distribute a first identifier for the short message, then send the short message with the first identifier, next receive a first status report with a second identifier and the first identifier, finally generate a second status report according to the first identifier and send the second status report to the sender. For the short message failed to send out firstly through SMS Route, the method is able to replace the second ID, an ID in the first status report generated from the SMSC, with the first ID to get the second status report and send the second status report to the sender so as to solve the problem of ID matching when SMSC sends the status report through SMS Route.
