The technical proposal adopted by the invention is as follows: a method for sending and receiving the asynchronous serial data line information, the asynchronous serial transceiver sends and receives character data information by the asynchronous serial data line are provided; the invention also includes steps of sending and receiving noncharacter information and provides the asynchronous serial transceiver for realizing the method, comprising a character transceiver and an interrupt controller which are connected, and also comprising a noncharacter information identifier and a quantitative receiving unit.
