Abstract

An extremely compact and low-cost broadband antenna device having a low profile and a simple structure. The planar broadband antenna device comprises a radiation element made by bending a tapered conductor plate (11) into a substantially U-shape, a conductor (12) as a ground plate, and a feeding coaxial cable (1) wherein a coaxial central conductor (2) of the coaxial cable is connected with the tapered U-shaped conductor (11) and a coaxial outer conductor (3) is connected with the ground plate (12).
