Abstract

The present invention provides a method for obtaining MCCH collocation by terminal in TD-SCDMA system. The terminal is switched from an original district to a target district. The method comprises the following procedures: transmitting a switching command which carries the information element identifying whether the MCCH collocation of target district is same with the MCCH collocation of original district by a network side to the terminal; receiving the switching command by the terminal for determining whether the MCCH collocation of the target district is same with the MCCH collocation of original district according to the information element in the switching command, if the collocation is same, continuing the using of the MCCH collocation of original district, and if the collocation is not same, obtaining the MCCH collocation of target district from the system information of target district. The method according to the invention settles the problem that the system information of new district after switching requires to be read after each switching when the terminal receives the multi-media broadcasting service through adding the indication showing whether the MCCH channel collocation is consistent before and after the terminal switching in the switching command based on the original switching flow path. The action of terminal is reduced and the operating efficiency of terminal is increased.
