Abstract

The invention provides a method for maintaining the work performance of a high load operation system of a computer. The method comprises the following steps: setting the detection time of a high load operation system and the transition time of old material; when the operation time of the high load operation system reaches the detection time, detecting whether waste material exists in the datasheet of a database; if waste material existing in the datasheet, extracting the waste material and conducting waste material cleaning; and if the waste material cleaning is completed successfully, transferring the old material in the database to a datasheet specially for storing old material when the operation time of the high load operation system reaches the set transition time. The invention further provides a performance maintain system of a computer high load operation system. By adopting the invention, the working efficiency of the high load operation system is increased.
