Abstract

The invention discloses a double-faced luminescent-face light source device, comprising a transparent cathode structure, a transparent anode structure, a fluorescent layer and a layer of low-pressure gas. The transparent cathode structure and the transparent anode structure are corresponding and respectively taken in planar structures, the fluorescent layer is arranged between the transparent cathode structure and the transparent anode structure, the layer of low-pressure gas is filled between the transparent cathode structure and the transparent anode structure for inducing the cathode to evenly emit electrons, the layer of low-pressure gas has an electronic mean free path to allow at least enough electrons to directly hit the fluorescent layer under an operating voltage.
