[0022] As the multi-axis gyroscope becomes smaller, more accurate, and stronger, the head tracking member can be placed in the listener's headset to provide the binaural audio system with the orientation of the listener's head. This head tracking information will be processed to change the sound reaching the listener's ear so that the listener can hear and locate the sound in the virtual 3-D environment. Different binaural audio systems can have different characteristics.
