Method for producing at least one window opening in an elongate paper substrate, and apparatus
A matrix and slender technology, applied in the direction of papermaking, paper/cardboard containers, general parts of printing machinery, etc., can solve the problem of screen accumulation and other problems, and achieve the effect of eliminating position deviation and stable shape

Embodiment Construction
[0052] figure 1 An elongated paper substrate 1 is shown schematically subdivided into a plurality of sheet parts 10 each having a watermark 2 . The paper substrate 1 is wound on a roll 1a and drawn therefrom for further processing. The subdivision of the paper substrate 1 into a plurality of sheet parts 10 takes place virtually via dividing lines 5 situated between two adjacent sheet parts 10 . A sensor unit 3 , such as a camera system, optically detects the position of the individual watermarks 2 and their relative position therebetween on the paper substrate 1 . Since each watermark 2 is slightly different in position, shape, size and contrast, the position data detected by the sensor unit 3 are only reference values which have to be properly corrected in order to be usable as control markers for further processing steps. In particular, the spacing between the watermarks 2 and, optionally, the side spacing can also be corrected.
