Abstract

The method comprises the steps of: mixing diantimony trioxide with monoammonium phosphate in a molar ratio of 1:6, then adding a condensing agent in a molar ratio of the diantimony trioxide of 1:0.1-1:0.5, ball-milling and mixing uniformly, afterwards, implementing asolid phase reaction for 1-2 hours at 200-250 DEG C, and subsequently reacting for 2-4 hours at 480-500 DEG C to prepare the product of the polyphosphate antimony. The invention improves the hydroscopic property of the product by increasing the molecular weight of the polyphosphate antimony and measures the product prepared by the invention by a moisture tester, and the hydroscopic property of the product is obviously lower than the prior art and the product is suitable for being applied to fire retardant.
