A preparation method of high length-diameter ratio anhydrous calcium sulfate whisker belongs to the technical field of inorganic chemical material preparation. The method takes inorganic calcium saltand inorganic precipitant as raw materials and surfactant as dispersant, and includes the following steps: first preparing superfine calcium sulphate dihydrate precursor with good dispersion at the temperature of 10-90 DEG C; then adding the precursor into water solution containing shape control agent to conduct hydrothermal reaction for 0.5-10h at the temperature of 100-250 DEG C, and obtaining calcium sulfate hemihydrate whisker; mixing the calcium sulfate hemihydrate whisker with inorganic solvent; and roasting the mixture for 0.5-6h at the temperature 200-800 DEG C to obtain anhydrous calcium sulfate whisker with the length of 20-2000mum, the diameter of 0.5-20mum, the length-diameter ratio of 40-1000 and the main content greater than 95wt% after washing and drying. In Situ Remediation of Inorganic Contaminants Using Stabilized Zero-Valent Iron Nanoparticles

A method for preparing highly stabilized and dispersible zero valent iron nanoparticles and using the nanoparticles as a remediation technology against inorganic chemical toxins in contaminated sites. The method employs a composition containing select polysaccharides (starch or cellulose) as a stabilizer for the iron nanoparticles in a liquid carrier, and results in suspensions of iron nanoparticles of desired size and mobility in water, brine, soils or sediments. The stabilizer facilitates controlling the dispersibility of the iron nanoparticles in the liquid carrier. An effective amount of the composition is delivered to a contaminated site so that the zero valent iron nanoparticles can remediate one or more toxins such as an arsenate, a nitrate, a chromate, or a perchlorate in the contaminated site.

According to the composite material, the inorganic mineral material is used as a filling agent, one the one hand, special functional characteristics of the inorganic mineral material are reflected, on the other hand, mechanical property and processability of a material in the original prescription are maintained, investment on the wood material and the other materials with pretty high cost is reduced, and the cost of the wood-plastic composite material is greatly reduced.
