Abstract

The invention discloses a routing method for balancing energy of a wireless sensor network. The routing algorithm forms the sensor network into a network which is layered according to the minimum hop and uses the strategy of multiple hop transmission and direct communication with sink node. When the multiple hop transmission is carried out, an improved maximum energy routing algorithm based on multipath routing is used. The method uses a mixed transmit mode which combines node direct transmission and hop-by-hop transmission to eliminate the hot-spotted problem of energy consumption near a sinkregion, and uses an improved maximum energy mechanism to solve a problem for balancing energy at the local region, wherein, the maximum energy mechanism adopts a multipath routing mode, therefore, the algorithm perfectly realizes energy balance use in the global scope of the network and effectively extends the life cycle of the network.
