The method comprises the following steps: a business self-service system displays or plays business attribute information capable of being modified to the user after the user successfully logs in; after the business self-service system receives a business attribute modifying request transmitted by the user, the business self-service system judges whether the user conforms to a preset business attribute modifying condition or not; and if the user conforms to the preset business attribute modifying condition, the business attribute of the user is updated according to a new business attribute set by the user and the effective time of the business attribute. After the invention is adopted, the user can flexibly adjust and use the business attribute by himself and can designate the effective time of the business attribute, thereby meeting the individuation requirements of different users.
