Abstract

The invention provides a method for allocating downlink and uplink proportion used in a wireless communication system, which comprises the following steps: setting a transition area between two adjacent allocation areas with different downlink and uplink proportions and setting layers of the transition area, wherein the layers of the transition area are two times of a difference of downlink or uplink subframes in different downlink and uplink proportions; and according to different downlink and uplink proportions, setting the downlink and uplink proportion of each layer. The method can eliminate the interference caused by different downlink and uplink proportion settings of base stations, thereby ensuring the coexistence of the base stations with different downlink and uplink proportion allocations.
