[0021] Certain terms are used in the description and claims to refer to particular elements. Those skilled in the art should understand that hardware manufacturers may use different terms to refer to the same component. The specification and claims do not use the difference in name as a way to distinguish components, but use the difference in function of components as a criterion for distinguishing. The "comprising" mentioned throughout the specification and claims is an open term, so it should be interpreted as "including but not limited to". In addition, the term "coupled" herein includes any direct and indirect means of electrical connection. Therefore, if it is described that the first device is coupled to the second device, it means that the first device may be directly electrically connected to the second device, or indirectly electrically connected to the second device through other devices or connection means.

Abstract

The present invention provides a method for sharing a communications channel in a wireless communications system. A network coordinating device of the wireless network obtains a first path quality information between a first pair of communications devices. The coordinating device also obtains a second path quality information between a second pair of communications devices. The coordinating device then determines one or more co-existing communications paths based on the first and the second path quality information in accordance with a predetermined rule. Finally, the coordinating device sends channel resource allocation information to the first pair and the second pair of communications devices to use corresponding co-existing communications paths such that the first pair and the second pair of communications devices communicate over the communications channel during a period of time concurrently. The predetermined rule is that when two communication paths are communicated with each other concurrently and the path quality information of the two communication paths exceeds the predetermined threshold, the two communication paths are determined to be co-existed. The method for sharing a communications channel in a wireless communications system provided by the present invention share the same frequency channel through two pairs of communication devices, thus increasing the power system capacity of the wireless communication system.

Description

technical field [0001] The present invention generally relates to a wireless communication system, and more specifically relates to a method for sharing a communication channel and a wireless communication system. Background technique [0002] Wireless Personal Area Networks (WPANs) are wireless networks used for communication and interactive operation of portable and mobile computing devices. Computing devices can be personal computers, personal digital assistants (Personal Digital Assistants, PDAs), peripheral devices , Mobile phones, pagers and other consumer electronics devices. IEEE 802.15 is a working group of the IEEE 802 LAN / MAN Standards Committee, which specializes in WPAN standards. [0003] For high-frequency and high-data-rate wireless networks, IEEE 802.15.3 Task Group 3c (IEEE802.15.3 Task Group 3c, TG3c) is developing a millimeter-wave (mmWave)-based The selected medium access control (Medium Access Control, MAC) and physical layer. This mmWave WPAN will o...
