Embodiment Construction

[0030] exist Figure 1a The refractory lining element 10 shown in is in the form of a prefabricated part, basically comprising a metal base body 1, a single-layer or multi-layer structure 2 of refractory material, and at least one anchor 3 by which the single-layer or multi-layer structure 2 fastened to the base body 1. In the illustrated embodiment, the single or multilayer structure 2 comprises from the inside out a layer of ceramic fibers 2a, a layer of insulating concrete 2b, and a further layer of refractory concrete 2c. During manufacture of the lining member 10 the anchors are welded to the metal base body 1 before casting the layers of the structure 2 . The lining member 10 also provides fixing means for fixing the lining member 10 . In the embodiment shown, the fixing means are formed by bolts 4 or nuts.

[0031] Although the lining member 10 is shown with a flat metal base body 1 , other profiles, in particular convexly or concavely curved profiles, may be provided...

Abstract

A fire-proof cladding element fixed on a kiln wall has one layer or multi-layer structure composed of a metal substrate body and a fire-proof material; and an anchor. The anchor fastens the one layer or multi-layer structure on the substrate body. The cladding element is prefabricated. The one layer or multi-layer structure has at least a layer of fireproof concrete. The anchor connected to the substrate body is cast in the fire-proof concrete.

Description

technical field [0001] The invention relates to a refractory lining component and a kiln having at least one kiln wall lined with a refractory material. Background technique [0002] DE 70 31 973 U1 discloses an insulating plate which is constructed as a refractory material and is used as a flat kiln wall and roof. It basically consists of a metal support sheet having a curved profile and to which a layer of insulating material is fixed. [0003] Kilns, especially industrial kilns, such as annular shaft kilns of the Maerz type or parallel flow regenerative shaft kilns, are lined with refractory material consisting of refractory bricks or a type of refractory concrete cast in situ or multiple lining components are formed. Such a refractory and insulating concrete for lining industrial kilns is described, for example, in DE 29 48 978 A1. [0004] Due to process influences (temperature stress, chemical attack, wear, etc.) occurring in the kiln, the lining components become d...
