Abstract
The invention relates to a diamond wire in the field of photovoltaic or semiconductor and a preparation method thereof. The diamond wire is prepared by fixing a diamond grinding material on a metal wire, wherein the diamond grinding material is a mixture of the reclaimed diamond grinding material and new diamond grinding material. The diamond wire becomes waste diamond wire after cutting crisp and hard materials and the preparation method of the diamond wire comprises the following operating steps of: separating the diamond grinding material from the waste diamond wire; cleaning the reclaimed diamond grinding material; mixing the cleaned and reclaimed diamond grinding material with the new diamond grinding material; and fixing the mixture on a new metal wire. Due to the adoption of the diamond wire with low preparation cost, the cost for producing and processing the crisp and hard materials such as crystal silicon, ceramics and the like is greatly reduced; and the application prospect of the diamond wire cutting method is greatly promoted.
