The invention relates to a pesticidal composition containing methoxyfenozide and a biogenic pesticide, in particular to a pesticidal composition containing the methoxyfenozide used as a first active ingredient and the abamectin or spinosyns biogenic pesticide used as a second active ingredient. The pesticidal composition can be prepared into various formulations, such as water dispersible granules, wettable powder, a suspending agent, a suspending emulsion, a dispersible oil suspending agent, emulsifiable concentrate, a microemulsion and a microcapsule suspension agent, and has reasonable compositions, good pesticidal effect and low drug using cost. The activity and the pesticidal effect of the pesticidal composition are not simple superposition of the activities of all the components, but have obvious synergistic action. The pesticidal composition can slow down generation of resistibility, has good safety for crops and is in compliance with safety requirement of a pesticide preparation. The pesticidal composition of the invention has better effects of preventing and treating lepidopterous pests, such as rice stem borer, scirpophaga incertulas, cnaphalocrocis medinalis guenee, cotton bollworm, apple leaf roller, spodoptera exigua and plutella xylostella.
