In the method of the invention, dry distillation process is utilized, firstly tar with high addition value in the lignite is extracted to obtain high-quality retort gas and simultaneously obtain lignite semicoke the structure and the performanceof which are beneficial for pulping, thus improving the utilization value of the lignite and realizing the comprehensive utilization of the lignite.
