The method for implementing the positioning of multipoint touch comprises the following steps of: starting the emission units on two opposite frames and finishing normalization of the receiving units; judging whether the touch screen generates touch deflection or not; switching the infrared emission units and three infrared receiving units corresponding to the emission units on in turn, and storing all values of a scanning receiving unit; reading a scanning value vertical to the scanning receiving unit, and comparing the scanning value with a normalized value; judging whether a touch point can be determined or not; further judging a possible touch point which is not accurately judged by using an infrared scanning record value which has a negative 45-degrees inclination angle; further judging uncertain individual touch points which are not accurately judged in the preceding step by using an infrared scanning record value which has a positive 45-degrees inclination angle; and finishing one scanning judgment cycle, and repeatedly starting a new cycle of multipoint touch judgment.
