Abstract

The invention relates to an active electronic tag which always periodically enters a sleep state and sends information after sleep revival to save energy consumption and prolong the service life. The electronic tag only unidirectionally sends internally stored information to an external space under the overwhelming majority of conditions. The invention provides a method enabling the electronic tag to establish two-way communication with an external node as necessary. In the method, the electronic tag starts a wireless receiving module within certain specific time slots so as to be convenient to receive a communication request from the external node; the time of starting the wireless receiving module by the electronic tag has certain relevance with the information sending time of the electronic tag; and the external node captures the time of the electronic tag in a receiving state by tracking the information sending time of the electronic tag and then actively sends the communication request as necessary. The main purpose of establishing the two-way communication by the electronic tag with the external node is that the external node can change the internal information of the electronic tag, wherein the internal information includes parameters, i.e. the identity information, the revival period, and the like of the electronic tag.
