[0061] figure 1 is a diagram showing an overview of a drive recorder system 100 including a data display device 1 and a drive recorder 2 . The drive recorder system 100 is applied to a company operating by using a plurality of vehicles such as trucks, buses, and taxis for business purposes. In this embodiment, a description will be given of a case where the tachograph system 100 is used in a company that uses taxis for business.

[0062] In this company, operation is performed using a plurality of vehicles B including taxis, and the travel recorder 2 is mounted on each of the plurality of vehicles B. As shown in FIG. In an organization A that manages a plurality of vehicles B, a data display device 1 that manages and displays data recorded by a drive recorder 2 is provided. A memory card 9 is used as a portable recording medium for data exchange between the data display device 1 and the tachograph 2 . The memory card 9 includes a flash memory as a nonvolatile sem...

[0139] Next, a second embodiment will be described. While in the first embodiment, the security code is recorded in the setting file D0, in the second embodiment, the security code is embedded in each piece of data recorded on the memory card 9. The configuration of the data display device 1 and the drive recorder 2 of the second embodiment is the same as that of the first embodiment, but the operation is partly different from that of the first embodiment. Therefore, the following description will focus on the differences from the first embodiment.

[0140] First, the data recording process performed by the drive recorder 2 of the second embodiment will be described ( Figure 4 step S3). The recording preparation processing of the second embodiment is the same as that of the first embodiment.

[0141] The outline of the flow of the data recording process of the second embodiment is basically the same as Figure 10 The flow of the data recording process of the first embodim...

[0156] Next, a third embodiment will be described. In the first and second embodiments, when the data display apparatus 1 records the security code on the memory card 9, no special processing is performed on the security code itself. In contrast, in the third embodiment, the data display device 1 encrypts the security code, and then records the encrypted security code on the memory card 9 .

[0157] Figure 14 is a diagram that illustrates the concept when encrypting secure code. Figure 14 An example is shown in which the user sets four numbers "1462" when the data display apparatus 1 sets the security code. In this case, "1462" is recorded on the hard disk 14 as the security code.

[0158] Meanwhile, when recording the security code on the memory card 9 during the recording preparation process, the security code is encrypted and then recorded. As an encryption method, various known methods can be used. In a simple way, a predetermined arithmetic operation can be perform...

Abstract

A display device displays data recorded in a portable recording medium by a drive recorder on a display unit. A code recording unit records a security code in the recording medium in which data is recorded by the drive recorder. A nonvolatile storage device stores a security code which is the same as the security code for use at the time of recording in the recording medium. A code acquisition unit acquires the security code from recorded contents of the recording medium in which the data is recorded by the drive recorder. A code authentication unit enables the display unit to display the data recorded in the recording medium when the security code acquired from the recording medium coincides with the security code stored in the storage device.

Description

[0001] The disclosure of Japanese Patent Application No. 2009-228216 filed on September 30, 2009, including specification, drawings and claims, is hereby incorporated by reference in its entirety. technical field [0002] The present invention relates to a technique for processing data recorded by a drive recorder on a portable recording medium. Background technique [0003] In the related art, there is known a tachograph that constantly takes pictures of the exterior or interior of the vehicle with a camera mounted on the vehicle, and when an event such as an accident occurs, records the images taken before and after the event. On portable recording media such as memory cards. Also known is a drive recorder or similar recorder that records not only images but also the running conditions of the vehicle, such as the position, speed, acceleration, etc. of the vehicle, on a recording medium at a predetermined cycle, or records Images representing the conditions of the exterior...
