The emulsion with (N+1)-variate particle size distribution can be formed by N times of injection, wherein N can be a natural number such as 1, 2, 3 and the like. The method is an effective approach to the in-situ preparation of compound emulsion and the realization of emulsion particle design. Because the method has a simple process and high control efficiency, the method can serve as a common method for industrially preparing the (compound) emulsion with multivariate particle size distribution, high solid content and low viscosity.
