The structure comprises two groups of electrode clamps, wherein two clamps in each group of electrode clamps are vertically laid out and arranged and can move in vertical direction and horizontal direction respectively. When the method is applied to batteries of different electrode outlet modes, the first clamp moves in the vertical direction to be adjusted to a position which is suitable for clamping a battery lug, and a second clamp can move in the horizontal direction to be adjusted to a position which is suitable for clamping another battery lug according to positions of the battery lugs. The electrode clamp disclosed by the invention is simultaneously suitable for a lithium battery of a single-side electrode outlet mode and a lithium battery of a double-side electrode outlet mode without replacing or increasing or decreasing the clamp. The electrode clamp layout structure is particularly suitable for a formation automatic production lien of the lithium battery of the single-side electrode outlet mode and the lithium battery of the double-side electrode outlet mode; and double-row arrangement of the batteries in a pellet can be realized.
