The method comprises the steps of: allocating different multicast broadcast radio network temporary identifiers RNTIs for different eMBMSs; scrambling the eMBMSs by using the allocated RNTIs; and releasing the scrambled eMBMSs. The invention further discloses an eMBMS system which comprises a broadcast / multicast service center (BM-SC), a multi-cell / multicast coordination entity (MCE) and an eNB (eNodeB), wherein the broadcast / multicast service center (BM-SC) is used for providing the eMBMSs; the multi-cell / multicast coordination entity (MCE) is used for allocating different RNTIs for different eMBMSs; and the eNB is used for scrambling the eMBMSs by using the allocated RNTIs, and releasing the scrambled eMBMSs.
