Abstract

The differential protection device also comprises a differential control unit besides a differential electromagnetic valve and a differential rocker switch, wherein the differential rocker switch is used for controlling the power on or power failure of the differential electromagnetic valve; and the differential control unit is used for determining whether a vehicle steers or not when the differential electromagnetic valve is powered on and making the differential electromagnetic valve in a power failure state when the vehicle is determined to be steered. By using the differential protection device provided by the embodiment of the invention, the steering state of the vehicle can be detected by a left position sensor and a right position sensor when a differential lock is in an unlocked state, namely when the differential electromagnetic valve is powered on; when the vehicle steers, output loops of the left position sensor and the right position sensor are switched on so that the coil of a relay is conducted; the two normally closed contacts of the relay are disconnected, so that the differential electromagnetic valve is in a power failure state and the differential lock is relieved; therefore, a differential is prevented from being damaged effectively, and the service life of the differential is prolonged.
