Abstract

A socket connector comprises an insulating base body, a metal shell body, a first terminal group, a second terminal group and a third terminal group. The insulating base body comprises a base and an assembly groove. A tongue plate unit comprises a main body and a combination body, wherein the main body is provided with an inserting part and a jointing part which are arranged at the front and at the rear; and the combination body and the jointing part are combined into a whole body and are jointly installed in the assembly groove to be combined and fixed with the insulating base body. The first terminal group is embedded in the main body in a molding manner. The second terminal group is fixedly arranged on the base; and each second terminal is provided with a second elastic part and a second fixed part, wherein the second fixed part bends from the rear end of the second elastic part, extends upwards and is propped against the base. The third terminal group is embedded in the combination body in a molding manner. All the terminals have good fixing performance and can strengthen the structural strength of the tongue plate unit and the combination stability of the tongue plate unit with the insulating base body.
