Abstract

The invention relates to a method for treating wastewater containing rubber latex, wherein the method comprises the steps of: mixing and standing the wastewater, water soluble alkali substances and water soluble metal halides. The method provided by the invention can effectively achieve demulsification of the wastewater containing the rubber latex with lower content, so that the wastewater is in milky wastewater layering to obtain a supernatant liquid layer, and the wastewater is decolored to facilitate the subsequent wastewater treatment of the supernatant liquid, so that the wastewater reaches the emission standard.

Description

technical field [0001] The invention relates to a method for treating waste water containing rubber latex. Background technique [0002] There are generally three methods of demulsification, namely, physical method, biological method and chemical method. Among them, the physical demulsification method includes filtration, centrifugation, ultrasonic, air flotation and so on. The particle size of the rubber particles in the latex suspension is 20-200 nanometers, which can be processed by membrane filtration technology theoretically, but the membrane pores are small, easy to block, and difficult to clean. However, methods such as centrifugation, ultrasound, and air flotation cannot achieve the demulsification of this emulsion. The biological demulsification method originated in the 1970s and is a method of using microorganisms to demulsify emulsions. Microbial demulsification refers to the use of microbial cells themselves or their metabolic processes and metabolites to achi...
