Abstract

The fingerprint door lock comprises the following components: a microprocessor unit which is equipped in a door lock housing, a fingerprint scanning module which scans the user fingerprint, a cipher input unit which is equipped for inputting the cipher, and a storage unit for storing the information which is related with the fingerprint scanning module and the cipher input unit. The fingerprint door lock further comprises a module-driving-motor controller which receives a driving signal from the microprocessor unit. When the cipher input unit is used for inputting cipher or a specific key is pressed, the fingerprint scanning module is exposed from the door lock through the driving force of a driving motor which is operated by a starting control signal of the module-driving-motor controller.
