The invention discloses a networking on-line monitoring system for urban air quality, comprising a plurality of monitor terminals which are arranged in a monitored environment, a remote monitoring center and a wireless communication system which is used for realizing data telecommunication between the monitor terminals and the remote monitoring center, wherein each monitor terminal consists of a wireless transceivers, air quality monitoring sensors which are connected with the wireless transceivers and a power supply which are used for respectively supplying power to the wireless transceivers and the air quality monitoring sensor; the wireless transceivers are connected to the wireless communication system; the air quality monitoring sensors are one or more than one of a temperature sensor, a humidity sensor, a poisonous and harmful gas sensor, a dust concentration sensor and a gas pressure sensor; and the remote monitoring center is a server pre-loaded with monitoring software. The system disclosed by the invention has the advantages of simple structure, reasonable design, convenience for popularization and use, high intelligent degree, strong adaptability and good using effect, therefore, requirements of environment monitoring departments are practically satisfied.
