The invention discloses a method and system for self-adaptation control over air conditioning of an air conditioner. The method includes the following steps of S1, obtaining indoor personnel information, determining whether there is a person in a room, executing the step S2 if there is the person in the room, and stopping the air conditioner or running the air conditioner at low loads if there isno person in the room; S2, obtaining time information, real-time weather information, indoor and outdoor air quality, temperature, humidity and user health data; and S3, determining environmental conditions based on the acquired time information, real-time weather information, indoor and outdoor air quality, temperature and humidity, determining the user state based on the user health data, and determining on-off and operating parameters of all functions of the air conditioner based on the environmental conditions and the user state. By means of the method and the system, the temperature and humidity of air can be adjusted, the air conditioner can be stopped and a window can be opened intelligently for real fresh air exchange when necessary, the user experience is improved, power consumption is reduce, and air conditioning, energy conservation, environmental protection and ambient air quality are taken into consideration.
