Abstract

A device and method include detecting signal strength received at a mobile cellular communication device. A dropped call is detected between the device and another device as a function of detected signal strength. The dropped call is reconnected when detected signal strength reaches a selected first threshold.

Description

Technical field [0001] The present invention relates to automatic redialing of cellular communications for dropped calls. Background technique [0002] For many different reasons, cellular communications may be disrupted or interrupted. In some cases, poor cellular coverage may cause dropped calls. When the coverage is affordable and sufficient to support the call, the user may be required to restart the call manually. Summary of the invention [0003] An apparatus and method include detecting signal strength received in a mobile cellular communication device. As a function of the detected signal strength, a dropped call between the device and another device is detected. When the detected signal strength reaches the selected first threshold, the dropped call is reconnected. Description of the drawings [0004] figure 1 It is a flowchart illustrating a method of reconnecting dropped calls according to an example embodiment. [0005] figure 2 It is a flowchart illustrating anothe...
