Problems solved by technology

[0007] Summarizing the shortcomings of existing haptic devices, all known haptic systems are not very reliable in reproducing haptic effects, especially on large screens (e.g. more than 10 inches in diagonal), the resulting significant inertial forces are prone to Make adjacent objects (dashboards, tables, supports, etc.) resonate

Embodiment Construction

[0032] The invention relates to an interaction device 10 comprising a visualization screen for displaying a visual interface, which must be operated by an operator. according to figure 1 , the interaction device comprises a forming structure and a first assembly comprising a chassis 4 , one or preferably a plurality of actuators 31 and 32 , and a planar element comprising a touch-sensitive surface 1 .

[0033] The chassis 4 is used to house the electronics for generating the interactive functions of the interactive device. These devices include visualization screens ( figure 1 not shown in ), electronics for measuring touch on the touch-sensitive surface 1 in position and force, and control electronics for actuators 31 and 32. The chassis 4 is a container in the form of a cavity in which all these electronic devices are integrated. The chassis 4 is preferably made of eg rigid plastic or metal material. Those skilled in the art can use suitable materials to form a rigid con...

Abstract

The invention relates to a tactile interaction device and method for generating tactile and sound effects, the interaction device (10) comprising a touch-sensitive surface (1) and a chassis (4), capable of generating tactile, sound (100, 101) and visual interactive effects . The sound and tactile effects are generated by common structural components (1, 2, 31, 32, 4) and electronics arranged so that the touch-sensitive surface (1) and chassis (4) behave like speaker. The invention also relates to a method for generating an interaction effect. The invention is a visualization device (10) and finds application in, for example, computers, televisions, telephones and touch sensitive panels. It is preferably applied to visualization devices with screens with large diagonals.

Description

technical field [0001] The field of the invention is touch-sensitive screens, also called "touch screens". These screens are sensory surfaces activated by the user's finger or hand or other activation device, and are often used to control a device or system through a graphical interface. There are many possible uses. Particular mention should be made of aeronautical applications in which the pilot can thus monitor and control all the functions displayed by the avionics system of the aircraft. Background technique [0002] Such an interface needs to provide user information feedback, such as a button state change, so that the operator can see the transition from inactive to active, and thereby confirm his or her interaction. [0003] This visualization mode is not very cooperative and error-prone for confusion involving the activation or inactivation of commands, and cannot be applied in the case of blind commands, the pilot must first or foremost deal with his main task by...
