Abstract

The underwater transducer comprises a longitudinal-vibration composite rod vibrator and a mosaic ring vibrator, wherein the longitudinal-vibration composite rod vibrator comprises a base, a screw rod and a piezoelectric ceramic plate and is used for producing vertical directivity being about 80 degrees; the screw rod is used for connecting the piezoelectric ceramic plate and an electrode plate and pressing the connected piezoelectric ceramic plate and electrode plate onto the base; and bonding faces of a piezoelectric ceramic strip and an electrode strip is coated with epoxy resin and are bonded together to from the mosaic ring vibrator, which is free of directivity in a circumferential direction. The mosaic ring vibrator is fixed on a base plate and is internally provided with a pipe for mounting of an annular mounting plate. The longitudinal-vibration composite rod vibrator is fixed on the annular mounting plate. An acoustical transmission film covers outside the longitudinal-vibration composite rod vibrator and the mosaic ring vibrator and is hermetically connected with the base plate. The interior of the transducer is filled with sonar oil and is sealed with acoustical transmission rubber, and the transducer can work normally and reliably under high depth (not smaller than 8000m).
