The method is implemented specifically by the following steps of: determining the characteristic range of the target; extracting a reflection component of a target area on the basis of a Retinex principle; performing color transfer correction on the target area; performing characteristic extraction on a target reference template and a target to be matched; calculating a characteristic resemblance distance between the target to be matched and a target reference; and finally performing matching pursuit judgment on the pedestrian target.
