Abstract

The invention provides a sensor of a touch panel, which comprises a substrate, a plurality of induction electrodes, a plurality of electrostatic protection electrodes, a plurality of first bridges and a protection layer, wherein the induction electrodes, the electrostatic protection electrodes and the first bridges are arranged on the substrate; the protection layer is arranged between the induction electrodes and the first bridges and simultaneously is arranged between the electrostatic protection electrodes and the first bridges; and the protection layer is provided with a plurality of touch holes, and at least one induction electrode is electrically connected with the electrostatic protection electrodes through the touch holes and the first bridges. Electrostatic destruction energy which may be generated in subsequent touch panel assembly and touch panel usage and operation can be dispersed through the design of the electrostatic protection electrodes, then the probability that transmission lines among induction electrodes are damaged by static electricity is reduced, and the reliability of the touch panel is improved effectively. The production method of the sensor of the touch panel with an electrostatic protection function can be integrated into the production process of existing touch panels, so that extra production processes, production process cost and complexity cannot be increased.
