The electronic device comprises an image obtaining module, an information obtaining module, a filming location determining module, an event searching module, an image obtaining module and a display module, wherein the image obtaining module responses a user operation received by an input unit and obtains image files; each image file comprises attribution information; the attribution information comprises coordinate information and filming time of the image files; a storage unit stores a comparison list for recording the coordinate information of the image files and filming locations of the image files, which are determined through the coordinate information; the information obtaining module obtains the coordinate information of the image files; the filming location determining module determines the corresponding filming locations according to the comparison list in the storage unit; the event searching module obtains the filming time of the image files and searching events occurring at the filming time and the filming location through a network; the image obtaining module obtains images which are relevant to the searched events; and the display module displays the obtained images to a display unit.
