The remote access system comprises a server, a client and a plurality of electronic cabinets; the server comprises a data base, a information push module, a remote reservation module and a remote reservation cancelling module; the client is connected and communicated with the server through network; each electronic cabinet comprises a central control unit, a monitoring device and a plurality of cells; each central control unit comprises a control module, a man-machine interaction device and a network connection device; each control module controls the opening of a gate of each cell; and the cells are connected and communicated with the server through the network connecting devices. According to the invention, the remote access system is adopted to realize remote reservation of the cells, so as to ensure available cells for a user during delivery of goods of the user and improve the delivery efficiency of the goods. In addition, the user also can cancel reserved cells through the remote access system, so as to avoid waste of cell source.
