Abstract

The invention discloses a device for directly measuring the repose angle of material. The device comprises a measuring plate, an angle dial, a rotating shaft, a flexible rope and a heavy hammer, wherein the angle dial is arranged on the measuring plate; the zero line of the angle dial is perpendicular to one measuring edge of the measuring plate; the rotating shaft is arranged in the center of the zero line; and one end of the flexible rope is connected with the rotating shaft, and the other end of the flexible rope is connected with the heavy hammer. When the device is in use, the measuring edge of the measuring plate is kept parallel to or placed on the bevel of to-be-measured material, and thus the repose angle of the material can be visually measured through indication of the flexible rope on the angle dial.
