Abstract

The invention provides a method for sounding reference signal resource allocation in a mobile communication system. In an embodiment, the method comprises the step of allocating resource for a first sounding reference signal and a second sounding reference signal of a piece of user equipment, wherein frequency density of the resource allocated to the first sounding reference signal is higher than that of the resource allocated to the second sounding reference signal. By adopting the technical scheme provided by the invention, resources with different frequency densities can be allocated based on different purposes of sounding reference signals. By doing so, frequency domain precision required for channel estimation can be ensured, and sounding reference signal resources can be used more effectively and fully to support services for more users.
