The method belongs to a method for carrying out automatic identification, distance measurement and final fusion display on obstacles in rearview scenes during the vehicle reversing on the basis that the outer surface of two sides of the back of a vehicle are fixedly and parallelly provided with two cameras. The method sequentially comprises three parts including cutting, distance measurement and fusion, wherein the cutting part comprises pretreatment, self-adaption FCM (fuzzy C-means) cutting and treatment after cutting, the distance measurement part comprises SIFT (scale invariant feature transform) feature matching, camera calibration and distance measurement, the fusion part mainly builds correlation rules and carries out fusion display by combining practical traffic scene conditions according to the measured distance information.
