Embodiment

[0066] Preparation of test solution

[0067] Single drug and mixed extracts with variable drug composition in 50% EtOH / H 2 O (v / v, about 1 g of plant material for 20 ml of solvent) was extracted at room temperature for 24 hours with stirring. 1.6 ml of the extract was mixed with 320 μl of 25% HCl (equivalent to 8.1 mol / L) and 80 μl of 50% EtOH, and hydrolyzed at 90° C. for 45 minutes. For comparison purposes, in the second step, 1 ml of the extract was hydrolyzed under the same conditions while adding 1 ml of 25% HCl. After concentrating the extract by evaporation, the residue was introduced into 1 ml of sterile water and tested for its antibacterial effect. Screening method: 80 μl of the test solution was placed on a Müller Hinton agar plate or a Müller Hinton agar plate with 5% sheep blood (which contained unknown concentration of bacteria to be tested) and incubated at 37° C. for 24 hours.
