The invention discloses an interaction method and system of a television program. The interaction method of the television program comprises the steps of: obtaining a trigger condition of an interaction link, wherein the trigger condition triggers the interaction link when the television program is played in a preset time period; detecting whether a mobile terminal of a user meets the trigger condition; when the mobile terminal meets the trigger condition, sending a preset first content to the mobile terminal; and receiving a second content from the mobile terminal, wherein the second content is feedback to the first content of the user. According to the invention, because the trigger condition of the interaction link is set in the preset time periods such as advertisement time in the played television program, the user can participate the interaction motion of the television program in the time period through the mobile terminal; and by means of the amusement of the mobile terminal, the problem of lower interaction of the user and the television program in the prior art is solved, and the effects of improving the interaction of the user and the television program and enhancing the user experience are achieved.
